Product Spotlight Package

With this package, I’ll help you develop 1-2 lingerie or swimwear designs. It’s ideal for products that include innovative details or technical features like sports bras, maternity underwear or post-surgery bras, as these require special attention. It’s also a great option for brands that want to start small with just a two-piece set, but be laser-focussed on their approach, as we can centre our research in a very specific demographic, and build a product that will be tailor-made for them.

Market & Trend Research

I’ll research the latest market trends and other competitor brands, so that we can narrow down the unique selling proposition of your brand or product. This step will also help us gain clarity on your target market, pricing, brand ethos and creative direction, to make sure that your products cover an existing gap in the market and will stand out from other offers.

Design Direction & 3D Development

I’ll create a solid design foundation by building clear moodboards that reflect the general ethos of your garments . Then, I’ll present some initial design proposals that align with your inspiration and brand characteristics, together with a color palette and fabric inspiration board. I always accompany my design process with 3D prototypes, so we can see how the final products will look like in a realistic way, and make changes to the design and fit in real time.

Tech Pack Development

Once we have narrowed down the final designs, I’ll make the CAD sketches and tech packs. The tech packs are the blueprint needed to bring your garments into production, and they include all the details that your factory will need to manufacture them, such as design callouts, construction details, bill of materials with fabrics and trims, and measurement specs.

Fit Support

Once your factory makes a prototype, it needs to be fitted on a model and adjusted. Usually, lingerie garments need around 3-4 sampling rounds before they’re ready for production, so this package includes my assistance through this process. I can review the prototypes and identify any fitting or construction problems that need to be addressed. I’ll then transfer that information to the tech packs, so the factory knows how to proceed in the next sample round.

Patterns & Grading (optional)

This part is optional, as some manufacturers have a pattern-drafting service in-house. However, having me create your own custom-drafted patterns will allow you to have more freedom when choosing or changing manufacturers, as you will have ownership over the files. My patterns are digitally drafted for maximum accuracy and can be delivered in all the main formats used in the industry (DXF, PDF, etc). I also include grading for different sizes and a custom size chart prepared for your brand, so that your customers can easily find the right size.

Capsule Collection Package

This package includes the development of a capsule lingerie or swimwear collection with 4-5 pieces (for example, 2 bra styles, 2 panty styles and a garter belt). This is the choice I’d recommend for small brands, specially for luxury and sustainable lingerie brands, because it allows us to create a highly curated collection that can have a great impact in your target customer, while maintaining a sense of uniqueness and a strong creative direction.

A collection always needs a solid creative direction, as it will dictate the overall mood of the garments and ensure they work as a cohesive unity that will appeal to your target customer. Thanks to the previous market research and my own individual creativity, we can build a clear design direction that will lead to unique garments that reflect your brand’s ethos.

Design Development in 3D

I’ll present some initial design proposals that align with your inspiration and brand characteristics, together with a color palette and fabric inspiration board. I conduct my design process by creating simplified 3D prototypes. These allow us to see how the final products will look like in a fairly realistic way, and we can make changes to the design and fit in real time. This step saves a lot of time down the line, as we can identify and fix potential issues before the first physical prototype is created by the factory.

Signature Collection Package

This package is for established brands, or even for new brands that want to make a strong statement. It includes the development of a signature lingerie or swimwear collection with 6-7 pieces (for example, 2 bra styles, 2 panty styles, a garter belt, a bodysuit or a corset, and a robe). Together, we’ll craft a collection that is meant to elevate your brand and showcase its ethos and values in a way that resonates with your customers.

Here’s a general overview of the different steps that you can expect when working together:

Discovery Call

This is the starting point: an online meeting where we’ll discuss the needs of your brand and how to best approach them

Project Proposal

Taking the insights from our call, I’ll propose a custom package of services tailored to your brand and budget

Design & Technical Development

Once the project is booked and I have all the necessary information, I’ll start working on the market research and design direction. Then will come the first drafts of the designs, and once those are settled, the tech packs. Your feedback at each one of these milestones will be crucial, so we’ll have several meetings.

Factory Prototype

After all the designs, tech packs and patterns are done, it’s time to send all the information to your factory. They’ll come up with a first prototype, that we’ll review together. Usually, 3-4 rounds of reviews are necessary, but I’ll be with you at every step to ensure that this process goes as smoothly as possible. Then, your designs will be ready for production and your brand will be about to launch!
